Part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, the Association loans funds for agricultural purposes and makes residential loans.
Farm Credit of Northwest Florida, a leading agribusiness lender seeks a dynamic leader for the role of Controller for our Marianna, Tallahassee, Monticello or Milton office.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration and a minimum of five years of work related experience plus administrative management experience.
Primarily this position is responsible for the variety of analytical functions in the areas of accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Specifically, this role will:
- Assist the CFO with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements including regulatory reports.
- Review and maintain Association's financial statements.
- Review and maintain an accurate general ledger monthly.
- Prepare management reports for presentation to the board of directors and other reports as requested by management.
- Ensure all accounting-related controls are implemented and performed successfully.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining internal policies and procedures as required by regulatory requirements and sound business practices.
- Establish and maintain all internal controls over financial reporting.
The salary range for this position is $66,700-$84,400 and up to 9% employer contribution to your 401-K.
Proficient in English and Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
