Summary:
We are looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Plant Operations Assistant to join our team at Courtyard Health Care Center.
The Plant Operations Assistant will work under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager to ensure the building(s), equipment, and utilities are maintained in good working order and center grounds are properly maintained in accordance with residents' needs, government regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities:
Perform minor repairs and day to day repairs, improvements, and preventative maintenance of the building, equipment, lawn, and grounds, as directed by the Plant Operations Manager.
Make sure equipment and work areas are kept clean, clear, safe, and free of obstruction.
Participate in disasters and fire drills, as needed.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Perform tasks that involve hanging of bulletin boards, pictures, and necessary items used in the residents' rooms, day rooms, common areas and/or offices.
Report any incident and/or accident to Plant Operations Manager as soon as possible.
May also, perform floor care, as needed.
Plant Operations Assistant -
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Completion of high school education or otherwise show the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
Previous maintenance experience is preferred, but not required; as long as the level of experience is at a level necessary to perform the duties of this job.
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance, as required.
Must be able to work weekend and overtime as required.
Must be able to follow and/or provide strong communication skills effectively through written and oral delivery in a manner appropriate for a healthcare/office setting.
Must be able to problem solve, if needed.
Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment exam, if required.
Plant Operations Assistant - Physical Demands and Environment:
Ability to drive large passenger vehicles for the center, if needed.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, grasping, climbing, reaching, fine hand coordination pushing and pulling.
Subject to frequent interruptions and distractions.
Willing to work beyond normal working hours and during disastrous circumstances, if needed.
Attend and participate in continuing on the job educational programs.
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and outside agencies and to work cooperatively with other associates.
Must be able to function independently, have personal integrity, have flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with or without other personnel and co-workers.
Ability to remain calm and cope with the mental and emotional stress of this position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
